- You are going to write a short description of a character of your choice, real or imagined, poetic or not.
- You need to use 4 different poetic techniques to describe your character and should focus on describing the attributes that tell the reader more about the subject than just what they look like.
- Success criteria:
I MUST use 4 different techniques to describe my character effectively.
I SHOULD consider how I want my character to be interpreted and make appropriate choices in my descriptions in order to affect this.
I COULD use descriptions of physical features metaphorically to suggest character traits subtly.
